Informal Complaints

It is the duty of the County Fiscal Officer, as required by State Law to fairly and uniformly appraise every parcel of land and the buildings thereon. A triennial Update involves a study and analysis of sales that have taken place in the past three years in order to determine whether a change in market value has occurred since the Reappraisal in 2012. The Triennial is designed to update market values and therefore to update assessed values. It is not designed to increase taxes but keep property values up to date with current prices paid for properties in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.

I invite your participation in this process. Printed in this notice you will find the new tentative value set for your property for tax year of 2015 payable in calendar year 2016.

If you do not feel the new tentative value for your property is accurate, the following options are available to discuss your property valuation. The deadline to contact the office is September 30th, 2015:

   1.  FILE YOUR COMPLAINT AT THIS WEB SITE
